How did you hear about Hornet Juice?: Brett Blankner’s podcast (Zen and the Art of Triathlon, http://zentriathlon.com/blog/). Once Brett gave his endorsement, I was on board.

How do you take Hornet Juice: I use HJ while training, racing and for recovery. I usually mix it with Gatorade, though sometimes I just use water. I try to take one packet every 2 hrs of my workout/race. I take one packet after my workout.

What do you think of Hornet Juice? This is a great little product! I used HJ all (hot) summer long while training for Ironman UK. One training day sticks out–I was out doing a long brick workout, 80 miles on the bike, followed by a 10 mile run. My legs felt so good and fresh after mile 78–thanks in part to the HJ– that I felt I could easily bike another 25 miles, no problem. I had never felt that kind of energy before, especially after such a long, hard grind in the boiling sun. But I personally think HJ helps most with recovery.

After completing Ironman UK, my quads totally froze up, and I was barely able to extract myself from the car I was driving. But I took two packets of HJ before going to bed, and when I woke up the next morning, yes, I was still a little sore, but nothing like the night before! Within 2 days, I was back in the States at work, with little to no tightness or soreness! That, my friends, is the BEST endorsement I can give to your product!
