Steps for Creating PayPal "Buy Now" Buttons

If you don't already have a PayPal account you will need to open one. This is free to do and only takes a few minutes. Just follow the simple steps on PayPal's website.

Once you have your PayPal account set up, or if you already have one, login to your PayPal account to begin the process for creating your "Buy Now" buttons.

After you have logged in select the "Merchant Tools" option from the top menu.

The landing webpage will say "3 powerful solutions to meet your business needs".

We suggest the first option, "PayPal Website Payments Standard". On the right hand side in the "Key Features" box, select the option "Buy Now Buttons".

Complete the form "Enter the details of the item you wish to sell" along the following lines:

• Item Name/Service: 10 Serves of Hornet Juice
• Item ID/Number: HJ10
• Price of Item/Service you want to sell: You set your own price
• Currency: You set your own currency
• Buyer's Country: (Optional) We ignore this option

We use the standard "Buy Now" button, which PayPal have set as the default.

For security we encrypt the payment button and leave the default set as "Yes".

After checking the information that you have input is correct click on the "Create Button Now".

Copy and paste the HTML code that is provided onto your website. There are self- explanatory instructions on how to do this. To create another button (eg: 20 Serves of Hornet Juice) simply select the "Create Another Button" option and repeat the above process.
